Bad Assessment provides a platform for a loosely organized group of people inside and outside of academia who are concerned about the effect that Learning Outcomes Assessment (LOA) and the accountability movement are having on higher education. The LOA movement has the backing of the accrediting agencies, some wealthy foundations, and many private sector consulting and advocacy groups. There is currently no organization or website that gives voice to the opposition. Bad Assessment is intended to fill that void.
